- Ontario Wine Society event: Gamay: Ontario's Best Kept Secret. Our
host was 13th Street Winery, 1776 4th Avenue, St Catherines.
The evening was amazing, the wines
ranged from great to 'interesting' and our host Peter Bodnar Rod
from 13th Street Winery was very entertaining.
The Tasting Room was lovely. Notice the
bottles - gives new meaning to the term 'brown bag it'. Double blind
tastings mean that even the people pouring the wines don't know
which are which.
13th Street Winery is definitely worth a
visit. Maybe for Cuvee or Valentine's Day. They're getting ready
....
